7 When Moses had put up God's Tent, he poured special oil on it. He also poured it on the things in the tent, the altar and all the tools. This showed that all these things were special for God to use. 2 Then the 12 leaders of Israel's tribes came to God's Tent. They brought gifts. These men were the leaders who had helped to count the people. 3 They brought their gifts to the Lord . They brought six carts, one cart for every two leaders. They brought 12 oxen. That was one ox for each leader. They brought it all to God's Tent.
4 The Lord said to Moses, 5 ‘Accept these gifts from the leaders. Give them to the Levites. All the Levites can use them for their work at the Tent of Meeting.’
6 So Moses took the carts and the oxen and he gave them to the Levites. 7 He gave two carts and four oxen to the descendants of Gershon. 8 He gave four carts and eight oxen to the descendants of Merari for their work. Ithamar was the son of Aaron. He had to tell the descendants of Merari the work that they should do. 9 But the descendants of Kohath had to carry everything that was special on their shoulders. So Moses did not give any carts or oxen to the descendants of Kohath.
10 When Moses poured special oil on the altar, the leaders also brought gifts. They offered their gifts to God in front of the altar. 11 The Lord said to Moses: ‘One leader must bring a gift to the altar every day. That is how they will make the altar special for me.’ 12 On the first day, Nahshon, the son of Amminadab from the tribe of Judah brought his gift. 13 He brought a plate and a bowl that someone had made from silver. The plate weighed 130 shekels. The bowl weighed 70 shekels. They had weighed the silver by the shekel of God's Holy Tent. Both of those were full of good flour that he had mixed with oil. They were for a grain offering. 68 He brought one small dish that someone had made from gold. The bowl weighed 70 shekels. They had weighed the silver by the shekel of God's Holy Tent. Both of those were full of good flour that he had mixed with oil. They were for a grain offering. 74 He brought one small dish that someone had made from gold. It weighed ten shekels and it was full of incense. 75 He brought one young bull, one male sheep and one male lamb that was less than one year old. 78 On day 12, Ahira, the son of Enan, from the tribe of Naphtali brought his gift. 79 He brought a plate and a bowl that someone had made from silver. The plate weighed 130 shekels. The bowl weighed 70 shekels. They had weighed the silver by the shekel of God's Holy Tent. Both of those were full of good flour that he had mixed with oil. They were for a grain offering. 80 He brought one small dish that someone had made from gold. It weighed ten shekels and it was full of incense. 81 He brought one young bull, one male sheep and one male lamb that was less than one year old. Those animals were for a burnt offering. 82 He brought one male goat for a sin offering. 83 He also brought two oxen, five male sheep, five male goats, and five male lambs that were less than one year old. Those animals were for the friendship offerings. That was the gift of Ahira, the son of Enan.
84 The leaders of Israel brought these gifts to the altar when Moses poured special oil on it. They brought all the gifts in the list below. They brought 12 plates and 12 bowls that people had made from silver. 85 Each plate weighed 130 shekels and each bowl weighed 70 shekels. All the silver weighed 2,400 shekels. That was the shekel of God's Holy Tent. 86 They brought 12 small dishes that people had made from gold. Each small dish weighed ten shekels. They were each full of incense. All the gold weighed 120 shekels. 87 All the animals for the burnt offering were 12 young bulls, 12 male sheep and 12 male lambs that were one year old. They also brought the proper grain offerings with those animals. And they brought 12 male goats for a sin offering. 88 There were also another 24 oxen, 60 male sheep, 60 male goats and 60 male lambs. The male lambs were one year old. Those animals were for the friendship offering. That was the offering when they made the altar special for God. That was after Moses had poured special oil on it.
89 When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting, to speak with the Lord , the Lord did speak to him. And Moses heard the Lord . The sound came from above the lid which was on the top of the Covenant Box. On the lid, there were images of two cherubs. The sound came from between the cherubs. That was how the Lord spoke to Moses.
7 Moses finished setting up the Holy Tent. On that day he dedicated it to God. Moses anointed the Tent and everything in it. He also anointed the altar and all the things used with it.
2 Then the leaders of Israel gave offerings to God. These men were the heads of their families and leaders of their tribes. These were the same men who were in charge of counting the people. 3 These leaders brought gifts and gave them to the Lord in front of the Holy Tent. They brought six covered wagons and twelve oxen for pulling the wagons. Each leader gave an ox and joined with another leader to give a wagon.
4 The Lord said to Moses, 5 “Accept these gifts from the leaders. These gifts can be used in the work of the Meeting Tent. Give them to the Levites to help them do their work.”
6 So Moses accepted the wagons and the oxen and gave them to the Levites. 7 He gave two wagons and four oxen to the men in Gershon’s group. They needed the wagons and the oxen for their work. 8 Then Moses gave four wagons and eight oxen to the men in Merari’s group. They needed the wagons and oxen for their work. Ithamar son of Aaron the priest was responsible for the work of all these men. 9 Moses did not give any oxen or wagons to the men in Kohath’s group, because their job was to carry the holy things on their shoulders.
10 When Moses anointed the altar, the leaders brought offerings for its dedication. They gave their offerings to the Lord at the altar. 11 The Lord told Moses, “Each day one leader must bring his gift for the dedication of the altar.”
12-83 [ a ] Each of the twelve leaders brought these gifts:
Each leader brought one silver plate that weighed about 3 1/4 pounds. [ b ] Each leader brought one silver bowl that weighed about 1 3/4 pounds. [ c ] Both of these gifts were weighed by the official measure. The bowl and the plate were each filled with fine flour mixed with oil. This was to be used as a grain offering. Each leader also brought a large gold spoon that weighed about 4 ounces. [ d ] The spoon was filled with incense.
Each leader also brought 1 young bull, 1 ram, and 1 male lamb a year old. These animals were for a burnt offering. Each leader also brought 1 male goat to be used as a sin offering. Each leader brought 2 cattle, 5 rams, 5 male goats, and 5 male lambs a year old. All of them were sacrificed for a fellowship offering.

On the sixth day, the leader of the tribe of Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel [ e ] brought his gifts.
On the seventh day, the leader of the tribe of Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud brought his gifts.
On the eighth day, the leader of the tribe of Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur brought his gifts.
On the ninth day, the leader of the tribe of Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni brought his gifts.
On the tenth day, the leader of the tribe of Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai brought his gifts.
On the eleventh day, the leader of the tribe of Asher, Pagiel son of Ocran brought his gifts.
On the twelfth day, the leader of the tribe of Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan brought his gifts.
84 So all these things were the gifts from the leaders of the Israelites. They brought them during the time that Moses dedicated the altar by anointing it. They brought 12 silver plates, 12 silver bowls, and 12 gold spoons. 85 Each silver plate weighed about 3 1/4 pounds. And each bowl weighed about 1 3/4 pounds. The silver plates and the silver bowls together all weighed about 60 pounds, [ f ] using the official measure. 86 The 12 gold spoons filled with incense weighed 4 ounces each, using the official measure. The 12 gold spoons all together weighed about 3 pounds. [ g ]
87 The total number of animals for the burnt offering was 12 bulls, 12 rams, and 12 one-year-old male lambs. There were also the grain offerings that must be given with these offerings. And there were 12 male goats to be used for a sin offering. 88 The leaders also gave animals to be killed and used as a fellowship offering. The total number of these animals was 24 bulls, 60 rams, 60 male goats, and 60 one-year-old male lambs. In this way they dedicated the altar after Moses anointed it.
89 When Moses went into the Meeting Tent to speak to the Lord, he heard the Lord’s voice speaking to him. The voice was coming from the area between the two Cherub angels on the mercy-cover on top of the Box of the Agreement. In this way the Lord spoke to Moses.
7 And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;
2 That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered:
3 And they brought their offering before the Lord , six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.
4 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
5 Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.
6 And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.
7 Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service:
8 And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
9 But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders.
10 And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar.
11 And the Lord said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.
12 And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:
13 And his offering was one silver charger, the weight thereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:
14 One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense:
15 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
16 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:
17 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

21 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:

24 On the third day Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun, did offer:

80 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:

84 This was the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:
85 Each charger of silver weighing an hundred and thirty shekels, each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels weighed two thousand and four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
86 The golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons was an hundred and twenty shekels.
87 All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.

89 And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.
7 Now on ( A ) the day that Moses had finished setting up the tabernacle, he ( B ) anointed it and consecrated it with all its furnishings, and the altar and all its utensils; he anointed them and consecrated them also. 2 Then ( C ) the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ households, ( D ) made an offering (they were the leaders of the tribes; they were the [ a ] supervisors over the [ b ] numbered men). 3 When they brought their offering before the Lord , six ( E ) covered carts and twelve oxen, a cart for every two of the leaders and an ox for each one, then they presented them in front of the tabernacle. 4 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 5 “Accept these things from them, that they may be [ c ] used in the service of the tent of meeting, and you shall give them to the Levites, to each man according to his service.” 6 So Moses took the carts and the oxen and gave them to the Levites. 7 Two carts and four oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon, according to ( F ) their service, 8 and four carts and eight oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, according to ( G ) their service, [ d ] under the direction of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. 9 But he did not give any to the sons of Kohath, because theirs was ( H ) the service of the holy objects, which they carried on the shoulder.

18 On the second day Nethanel the son of Zuar, leader of Issachar, presented an offering ; 19 he presented as his offering one silver dish whose weight was 130 shekels, and one silver bowl of seventy shekels in sanctuary shekels, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering; 20 one gold pan of ten shekels , full of incense; 21 one bull, one ram, and one male lamb one year old, as a burnt offering; 22 one male goat as a sin offering; 23 and for the sacrifice of ( N ) peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five male lambs one year old. This was the offering of Nethanel the son of Zuar.
24 On the third day it was Eliab the son of Helon, leader of the sons of Zebulun; 25 his offering was also one silver dish whose weight was 130 shekels, and one silver bowl of seventy shekels in sanctuary shekels, both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering; 26 one gold pan of ten shekels , full of incense; 27 one bull, one ram, and one ( O ) male lamb one year old, as a burnt offering; 28 one male goat as a sin offering; 29 and for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five male goats, and five male lambs one year old. This was the offering of Eliab the son of Helon.

84 This was ( AL ) the dedication offering [ j ] for the altar from the leaders of Israel [ k ] when ( AM ) it was anointed: twelve silver dishes, twelve silver bowls, and twelve gold pans, 85 each silver dish weighing 130 shekels and each bowl seventy; all the silver of the utensils totaled 2,400 in sanctuary shekels; 86 the twelve gold pans full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece in sanctuary ( AN ) shekels, all the gold of the pans totaled 120 shekels . 87 All the oxen for the burnt offering totaled twelve bulls, all the rams, twelve, the male lambs one year old with their grain offering, twelve, and the male goats as a sin offering, twelve; 88 and all the oxen for the sacrifice of peace offerings totaled twenty-four bulls, all the rams, sixty, the male goats, sixty, and the male lambs one year old, sixty. 89 Now when ( AP ) Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from above ( AQ ) the [ l ] atoning cover that was on the ark of the testimony, from ( AR ) between the two [ m ] cherubim; so He spoke to him.

4 The Lord said to Moses, 5 “Accept these from them, that they may be used in the work at the tent of meeting. Give them to the Levites as each man’s work requires.”
6 So Moses took the carts and oxen and gave them to the Levites. 7 He gave two carts and four oxen to the Gershonites, ( H ) as their work required, 8 and he gave four carts and eight oxen to the Merarites, ( I ) as their work required. This was the offering of Eliasaph son of Deuel.

49 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 50 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 51 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 52 one male goat for a sin offering; 53 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Elishama son of Ammihud. ( AH )
54 On the eighth day Gamaliel son of Pedahzur, ( AI ) the leader of the people of Manasseh, brought his offering.
55 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 56 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 57 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 58 one male goat for a sin offering; 59 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.

66 On the tenth day Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai, ( AK ) the leader of the people of Dan, brought his offering.
67 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 68 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 69 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 70 one male goat for a sin offering; 71 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.
72 On the eleventh day Pagiel son of Okran, ( AL ) the leader of the people of Asher, brought his offering.
73 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 74 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 75 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 76 one male goat for a sin offering; 77 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Pagiel son of Okran.
78 On the twelfth day Ahira son of Enan, ( AM ) the leader of the people of Naphtali, brought his offering.
79 His offering was one silver plate weighing a hundred and thirty shekels and one silver sprinkling bowl weighing seventy shekels, both according to the sanctuary shekel, each filled with the finest flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering; 80 one gold dish weighing ten shekels, filled with incense; 81 one young bull, one ram and one male lamb a year old for a burnt offering; 82 one male goat for a sin offering; 83 and two oxen, five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed as a fellowship offering. This was the offering of Ahira son of Enan.
84 These were the offerings of the Israelite leaders for the dedication of the altar when it was anointed: ( AN ) twelve silver plates, twelve silver sprinkling bowls ( AO ) and twelve gold dishes. ( AP ) 85 Each silver plate weighed a hundred and thirty shekels, and each sprinkling bowl seventy shekels. Altogether, the silver dishes weighed two thousand four hundred shekels, [ e ] according to the sanctuary shekel. ( AQ ) 86 The twelve gold dishes filled with incense weighed ten shekels each, according to the sanctuary shekel. ( AR ) Altogether, the gold dishes weighed a hundred and twenty shekels. [ f ] 87 The total number of animals for the burnt offering ( AS ) came to twelve young bulls, twelve rams and twelve male lambs a year old, together with their grain offering. ( AT ) Twelve male goats were used for the sin offering. ( AU ) 88 The total number of animals for the sacrifice of the fellowship offering ( AV ) came to twenty-four oxen, sixty rams, sixty male goats and sixty male lambs ( AW ) a year old. These were the offerings for the dedication of the altar after it was anointed. ( AX )
89 When Moses entered the tent of meeting ( AY ) to speak with the Lord , ( AZ ) he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover ( BA ) on the ark of the covenant law. ( BB ) In this way the Lord spoke to him.
